Student Council
We have a Student Council at Meadow Glens to promote school spirit, demonstrate leadership, think about the community, and model behavior for other students. The Student Council will encourage positivity and build leadership skills by helping our school community as well as the community at large. We will help our community through activities like hosting a Veteran’s Day Drive, Loaves & Fishes Food Drive, Phil’s Friends Cards for Cancer Patients, Ronald McDonald House Pop Tops and a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish Illinois. We will also vote on some school spirit days as well! Here are some of the spirit days we have done in the past: PJ Day, Culture Day, Hat Day, Decades Day, Tie Dye, Vacation Day, and Favorite Sports Team Day to name a few. Get ready to SOAR and think about joining the Student Council today!
Our Mission Statement (read at every meeting):
To uphold our responsibilities as student council members by SOARING, demonstrating leadership, helping others, and uniting the school with spirit and commitment.
